POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing the sales of products and services related to
commercial and multi-family projects. Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to
improve short and long-term sales and earnings by performing the following essential duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Helps as needed to develop strategies to expand into new business channels
• Responsible for project management and coordination
• Provides quotations and spec writing services for medium and large commercial or multi-family projects
• Helps as needed present formal project proposals to customers, sometimes at their place of business
• Manages relationships with commercial hardware vendors
• Ensures quoted products adhere to safety, accessibility and code requirements
• Establishes relationships with architects, contractors and builders
• Assists sales team with product information
• Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
• Provides training for sales and customer service teams
• Assist with customer service as related to commercial hardware
• All other duties as required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing
• 1+ years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC) or Door and Hardware Consultant (DHC) certification or working towards certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication via phone, email and in-person
• Able to multi-task and remain organized while adapting to the needs of the organization
• Ability to be flexible and manage several tasks at the same time to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
