Larry Whitt
Director of Sales and Customer Experience
Larry Whitt is the company’s Director of Sales and Customer Experience. Larry started with the company in 1992, and his first job was as a part-time truck driver and warehouse person. Since then, he’s worn many different hats, including programming the company’s old IBM System 36, proofreading the catalog, helping move the company’s Minnesota warehouse (twice!), sales, and everything in between.
Larry manages Jeske’s sales and customer service teams. He travels with account managers, helping them develop both project and stocking opportunities for Jeske’s current customers as well as prospecting for new business and new markets. Larry also calls on key strategic corporate accounts throughout the country and works at various trade shows.
Larry’s favorite part of the job is getting to meet all kinds of different people, and he loves the competition of winning business.
When Larry’s not winning business, he enjoys spending time with his family, building Jeeps, downhill skiing and participating in various triathlons / trail runs and mountain bike races. Most of his down time is spent travelling the country to watch his son compete as a Division 1 collegiate rower and coaching his daughter’s NICA mountain bike racing team.
